This role involves collaborating with Manufacturing Equipment Services and Engineering teams to identify and resolve critical equipment or process downtime issues. Responsibilities include conducting root cause analysis, developing countermeasures, supporting standardization efforts, and providing technical support for complex problems. You will assist with equipment design feedback, coordinate installation of solutions, and develop improvement initiatives to enhance reliability across regional manufacturing operations.
Key duties include:
- Supporting root cause identification and communicating issues to leadership.
- Analyzing manufacturing characteristics and comparing results to targets.
- Contributing to equipment reliability improvements and new technology implementation.
- Preparing reports, executing PDCA cycles, and conducting KPI gap analyses.
Qualifications, experience, and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 0-2 years of engineering or manufacturing experience, with knowledge of automated electrical hardware/software, machine safety, PLC, HMI, and machining processes.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
