Overview
Seeking a skilled engineer to contribute to the development of prototype ATV/SxS vehicles, focusing on researching and applying new technologies to meet business objectives and maintain global quality standards.
- Design and develop complex component and system layouts using CAD software, ensuring specifications meet concept, function, and manufacturing requirements. Communicate specifications through detailed drawings and maintain accurate documentation.
- Establish and lead cost target initiatives by optimizing designs and implementing cost reduction strategies for responsible parts.
- Create and manage project schedules, coordinate resources, and effectively communicate project status, leading meetings and development events.
- Innovate and support new technology development, contributing ideas and supporting application maturation with minimal supervision.
- Address quality themes by analyzing root causes, developing specifications, and leading recurrence prevention efforts.
Qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 5+ years of engineering experience (preferably in Powersports or automotive), strong leadership, communication, confidentiality, and technical skills in FTA, FMEA, tolerances, drawing, and CAE. Ability to plan, prioritize, and operate independently is essential.
Work conditions: Occasional travel, primarily office-based with some physical hazards typical of shop environments. Overtime may be required based on project needs.
