Overview
Role Overview: This position involves preparing, packaging, displaying, and stocking deli and bakery products to meet company guidelines for quality, safety, and guest experience. It requires working independently and collaboratively to support store growth and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and produce bakery and deli items according to production plans.
- Package, label, and merchandise products per merchandising expectations.
- Stock backroom with rotating and dating cases/buckets.
- Coordinate with team members and notify managers of supply needs.
- Follow safety, food safety, PPE, and cleaning protocols.
- Communicate effectively with associates regarding tasks and procedures.
- Assist in other departments as needed based on customer service demands.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma (GED preferred).
- At least one year of retail or related experience preferred.
- Strong reading, writing, and basic math skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to interpret documents.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally, stand and walk for extended periods, and work in varied temperatures and environmental conditions.
