Position Overview
We are seeking a Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Technician responsible for repairing and maintaining electric and propane industrial lift trucks, pallet jacks, scissor lifts, and cherry pickers.
Utilizing manuals, hand tools, power tools, and electrical/mechanical knowledge, you will ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage repairs, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and monitoring of MHE
- Perform preventive maintenance such as oil/filter changes, calibration, and inspections per manufacturer guidelines
- Log work orders and materials in computerized systems
- Interpret plans, schematics, and manuals
- Assist battery technicians and building/refrigeration teams with related repairs and maintenance activities
Qualifications & Skills
- Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, including AC/DC systems, drive motors, and PLC controls
- Experience with material handling equipment, especially Crown, Raymond, or Toyota, is a plus
- 1-2 years of experience logging work orders and PMs in tracking systems
- High School Diploma or equivalent
