Overview
Role Overview: The General Service Technician performs basic non-technical vehicle services such as oil changes, tire and wheel services, alignments, and fluid flushes. Working alongside ASE Certified Technicians, they receive training to advance their automotive career and have the opportunity to become certified ASE Automotive Technicians.
Responsibilities include:
- Safely transport customers and pick up parts using company vehicles.
- Conduct vehicle safety and emission inspections following guidelines.
- Perform tire mounting, balancing, rotation, and basic services like oil changes.
- Observe vehicle conditions, report repairs or safety concerns, and document findings.
- Maintain a clean shop environment and adhere to safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous automotive experience preferred; motivated individuals with a passion for cars are encouraged to apply.
- Valid driver’s license with ability to pass background and MVR checks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, Monday through Saturday.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions: The role involves exposure to loud noises, dust, fumes, and other hazards. Candidates must stand for extended periods, perform bending, lifting (up to 70 pounds), and have full range of motion. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
