Overview
Join a dynamic automotive team as a Junior Automotive Technician, responsible for performing basic diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance services such as oil changes, tire services, brakes, suspension, and alignments.
Key duties include:
- Conducting mechanical repairs based on experience level
- Performing tire mounting, dismounting, balancing, and rotation
- Executing oil and fluid changes, as well as power flushes
- Utilizing multi-point inspections and repair orders to document vehicle conditions
- Carrying out State Safety and Emission Inspections where applicable
- Following safety protocols and company policies, reporting concerns promptly
- Adapting to flexible schedules and assisting with other duties as assigned
Qualifications include:
- Minimum 2 years of automotive technician experience
- Proficiency with computerized diagnostic equipment
- Valid driver’s license; ability to obtain a State Inspector License preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Skills and physical requirements:
- Ability to work standing up for extended periods and perform bending, kneeling, and lifting (up to 70 lbs)
- Good vision for color, depth, and focus
- Comfort working in environments with noise, dust, fumes, and varying temperatures
- Adherence to safety procedures and effective communication skills
