Join our team as a Retail Store Associate and help feed communities by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining store operations. Your role includes restocking shelves, assisting customers, slicing deli meats, receiving products, and processing transactions, all while ensuring a clean and inviting environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Greet and assist customers professionally and courteously.
- Store Maintenance: Stock, clean, and rotate products; maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all areas.
- Inventory Control: Resolve pricing discrepancies and minimize shrinkage.
- Equipment Handling: Properly operate and maintain store equipment.
- Food Safety: Follow safety and sanitation procedures in food preparation and packaging.
- Collaboration: Support other departments and participate in store promotions.
- Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Knowledge of retail store operations is helpful.
- Accurate vision, friendly demeanor, ability to read and learn product details.
- Physical ability to stand, lift up to 80 lbs, reach, kneel, and handle various equipment.
- Proficiency in operating mixers, ovens, slicers, and POS systems.
- 0-2 years retail experience preferred.
Additional Details
Availability varies; shifts include morning, day, and evening. This is a part-time role with potential for full-time. The environment is primarily a grocery store with temperatures ranging from 50F to 90F. Candidates are expected to demonstrate initiative, safety awareness, productivity, and uphold company values.
