Overview
Role Overview: This position involves managing valuation engagements, conducting industry research, analyzing financial data, and preparing valuation reports and models. The role includes participating in due diligence, evaluating business plans, and ensuring accuracy in financial analysis using methods like DCF and comparable public companies. Additionally, the manager will oversee engagement activities, manage project risks, and mentor staff.
Responsibilities:
- Perform industry and peer company research, analyze market dynamics
- Participate in due diligence meetings, assess business plans
- Develop and review valuation reports, proposals, and financial models
- Manage engagement risks, billing, collections, and project budgets
- Supervise and train team members ensuring quality and compliance
- Uphold professional integrity and foster a respectful work environment
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum five years of experience in business and intangible asset valuation, financial analysis, and research
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business
- Fluent in Japanese
- Licensed ABV or willingness to obtain within a year
- Strong communication, research, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
