Role Overview: The Senior Associate in Economic & Statistical Consulting performs advanced quantitative analyses to address economic, regulatory, and policy issues for diverse clients in public and private sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct statistical, economic, and financial analyses, developing complex computer algorithms to process data and automate tasks.
  • Build and refine economic and mathematical models to simulate policy impacts and business decisions.
  • Manipulate large datasets, applying innovative approaches to support analyses.
  • Prepare clear, insightful reports and presentations tailored for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Draft technical and non-technical memoranda based on research findings.
  • Uphold professional integrity and foster a respectful work environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum three years of recent experience in quantitative analysis within advisory or related firms.
  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, statistics, mathematics, applied mathematics, or computer science; Master’s preferred.
  • Proficiency with data analysis software such as STATA, SAS, Python, SQL, or R.
  • Experience managing large data volumes, financial analysis, econometric modeling, and applying data science and machine learning techniques.
  • Strong creative problem-solving, communication, and research skills.
  • Must possess a U.S. Government Secret clearance and be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
