Overview
Role Overview: The Tax Senior Associate collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to provide R&D tax credit consulting services. Responsibilities include conducting client interviews, performing technical research, developing industry expertise, and managing multiple projects involving data gathering, computations, and analysis. The role also involves drafting opinion letters, responding to IRS inquiries, and preparing technical memoranda.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum two years of recent tax experience in public accounting or corporate taxation
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet research
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Technical knowledge of R&D deduction and credit Internal Revenue Code sections (including 174 & 41), regulations, and relevant legal authority
- Ability to work at client sites and travel as needed
