We are seeking a Manager or Senior Manager in Fixed Assets / Cost Segregation to join our Accounting Methods and Credit Services practice.
key responsibilities include
Managing and performing cost segregation and fixed asset analyses for construction projects, real estate acquisitions, and renewable energy initiatives. Reviewing construction cost data, architectural drawings, and general ledger details to classify assets and identify tax-eligible costs. Conducting site visits to evaluate building components and validate cost assumptions. Managing client relationships, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring accurate technical documentation. Delivering engineering reports, depreciation analyses, and overseeing outsourcing engagements. Identifying process improvements and supporting business development activities. Additional duties for Senior Manager include leading complex engagements, mentoring team members, and driving practice growth.
Qualifications include
a minimum of five years' experience in engineering, accounting, or related fields; a bachelor’s degree in relevant disciplines; strong understanding of construction processes, asset classification, and tax depreciation principles; professional credentials such as CPA, EA, or JD/LLM (with a one-year window to obtain if not held initially); proficiency in Excel, data automation tools, BI software, and scripting languages. Additional senior-level qualifications require at least eight years of experience, leadership skills, and client management expertise.
