Role Overview: The Retail Store Associate ensures the smooth operation of the store by providing exceptional customer service, restocking shelves, and maintaining cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with inquiries and transactions in a friendly manner.
- Maintain proper store conditions, including stocking, cleaning, and product rotation.
- Ensure sanitation and food safety according to regulations.
- Minimize shrinkage by resolving price discrepancies promptly.
- Operate equipment such as slicers, scales, and food prep machines.
- Collaborate across departments for promotions and store needs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Knowledge of retail operations; customer service skills.
- Ability to differentiate products, operate equipment, and provide courteous service.
- Physical ability to stand, lift up to 80 lbs, and perform various movements.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures.
Experience: Some retail experience preferred, especially within grocery stores.
