Overview
General Service Technician
Responsible for performing basic automotive services such as oil changes, tire mounting, dismounting, balancing, and rotation. Conducts safety and emission inspections, observes vehicle conditions, and reports repairs or safety concerns. Maintains shop cleanliness and operates company vehicles safely for customer transport and parts pickup. Adheres to safety procedures and company policies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license
- Ability to obtain or hold a State Inspector License within 30 days
- Basic understanding of vehicle mechanics and assemblies
- Availability to work Monday through Saturday
Skills & Working Conditions:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to work in noisy, dusty environments with varying temperatures
- Must have full range of motion, good vision, hearing, and communication skills
