Overview
Role Overview: This position involves completing customer orders by selecting products from warehouse racks, assembling, palletizing, and wrapping pallets for delivery. It requires operating powered industrial equipment and working in dry, cooled, or frozen areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Locate, lift, and handle various grocery and food products, including fresh produce, dairy, meats, and frozen items.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment and conduct equipment inspections.
- Report damaged or low-stock items and utilize proper wrapping techniques to prevent damage.
- Follow verbal and written instructions accurately and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience in order selecting and operating industrial equipment is preferred.
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Capability to operate equipment safely and work in multi-temperature areas.
- Strong physical ability, including lifting up to 75 pounds with assistance, and endurance for standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
Physical & Work Environment: Must work in environments with temperature variations and moderate to high noise levels, with physical demands including repetitive movements and lifting. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime is required.
