Retail Associate

Overview

Role Overview: This position involves independently preparing, frying, packaging, displaying, and stocking bakery products to meet company standards and contribute to store profitability. It ensures adherence to safety, food safety, and guest experience guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, produce, and package bakery items according to production plans

Merchandise products as per merchandising expectations

Stock and rotate bakery items, notify managers of supply needs

Collaborate with team members and other departments to support store growth

Follow safety, food safety, cleaning, and guest service protocols

Perform additional tasks as assigned, including roles in other departments if needed

Qualifications & Skills:

High school diploma or GED preferred

At least one year of retail or related experience preferred

Strong reading, writing, and basic math skills

Detail-oriented with good communication skills

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally, stand and walk for extended periods, and work in varied temperatures. Reasonable accommodations available.
