Overview
Role Overview: Lead daily department operations in a retail store, ensuring staff training, staffing levels, and adherence to company standards to meet performance goals.
Key Responsibilities: Manage inventory ordering and control to maintain freshness and quality, verify received orders, and oversee product storage. Lead a team to ensure accurate stocking, production, and rotation, handling spoiled or damaged items appropriately. Maintain product knowledge and promote sales features such as ad items and coupons. Communicate and execute weekly plans, support scheduling, labor control, and payroll. Uphold food safety, safety, and guest experience standards, ensuring a clean, attractive, and well-stocked environment. Assist in staffing, training, performance management, and goal development. Participate in meetings and support department collaboration.
Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or equivalent required; retail experience preferred. Strong communication, organization, decision-making, and leadership skills. Proficient in retail systems, Microsoft Office, and suggestive selling. Bilingual abilities in Spanish are advantageous.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally, stand and walk for long periods, and work in varied temperatures and environmental conditions.
