Overview
Role Overview: This position involves independently preparing, frying, packaging, displaying, and stocking deli and bakery products to support store operations and financial goals. The role emphasizes ensuring excellent guest experience, safety, and food safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and produce bakery/deli items according to production plans.
- Package, label, and merchandise products per plan and expectations.
- Stock backroom with fresh products, rotating and dating cases.
- Collaborate with other departments to drive store growth.
- Notify managers about supplies and inventory needs.
- Follow safety, food safety, and guest experience guidelines.
- Assist in tasks across departments as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- One year of retail or related experience preferred.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Detail-oriented with good communication skills.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform physical tasks in varied environments. Reasonable accommodations are available for disabilities.
