Overview
Senior Automotive Technician / Mechanic
Responsible for diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles efficiently, following industry standards and safety procedures. Performs multi-point inspections, documents recommendations, and explains technical issues to customers and staff. Maintains ASE certifications and adheres to certification renewals. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, preferred ASE or relevant experience, and a valid driver’s license. Must be able to work at least five days, including Saturdays.
- Diagnose vehicles based on certification/experience level
- Perform repairs accurately and efficiently
- Communicate technical diagnoses to non-mechanical individuals
- Recommend necessary services and document all findings
- Follow safety procedures and report concerns
- Maintain ASE certifications and renewals
