Role Overview:
The Manager - Business to Business Sales leads sales teams and develops strategies to maximize market share through customer acquisition, retention, and growth of business solutions. They serve as the primary customer-facing representative, managing account executives and managers, fostering community relationships, and driving revenue growth by promoting solutions like VoIP, managed services, and fiber solutions. The role emphasizes coaching, training, and building team cohesion through ongoing knowledge sharing, technical expertise, and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a sales team, develop strategic plans, analyze market conditions, and report on performance to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Manage and mentor sales personnel, including recruiting, onboarding, performance evaluations, and employee engagement.
- Build strong inter-departmental relationships, participate in projects, and align goals across teams.
- Oversee CRM usage, contract negotiations, sales processing, and office efficiency.
- Support sales activities by participating in customer meetings, handling complex sales, and maintaining key customer relationships.
- Develop community and industry presence through programs, events, and professional development.
- Perform special projects as assigned to support department objectives.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of professional experience.
- At least 5 years in the industry, with 4+ years in sales and 3+ years in leadership roles.
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset, strategic thinking, and ability to secure support from others.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of finance, technical solutions, and industry contacts.
- Proven success in recruiting, training, and leading sales teams.
- Valid driver’s license required.
