Overview
We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer - Transportation - Traffic/ITS to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and designing innovative traffic and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) solutions to improve transportation efficiency and safety.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing traffic signal systems, ITS infrastructure, and related transportation projects
- Conducting traffic analysis, simulations, and assessments to support project development
- Preparing technical reports, design plans, specifications, and cost estimates
- Collaborating with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success
- Ensuring designs adhere to local, state, and federal standards and regulations
- Reviewing and evaluating project proposals and providing technical guidance
