Position Overview

The MHE Technician II is responsible for the safe operation, repair, and preventative maintenance of various material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, lifts, scrubbers, and batteries. They support management in ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines, safety standards, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing and managing equipment repairs, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
  • Performing routine maintenance like oil changes, filter replacements, calibrations, and inspections.
  • Documenting inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities accurately in the CMMS.
  • Communicating equipment status and issues to management and team members.
  • Assisting in developing standard operating procedures and managing parts inventory.
  • Supporting battery and building maintenance tasks, including repairs and cleaning.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 2-5 years experience in MHE maintenance.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical (AC/DC), mechanical systems, and building systems.
  • Manufacturer certifications (e.g., Raymond, Crown) and ASE certifications preferred.
  • Basic understanding of schematics, controls, and maintenance manuals.

  • Works in warehouse environments with varying temperatures.
