Overview
Join our Horizontal Directional Drilling Team as a skilled technician responsible for building and maintaining advanced PON/fiber networks.
**Key duties include** operating horizontal directional drills, supporting fiber splicing and repairs, installing underground and aerial fiber lines, and operating construction equipment like trenchers and backhoes. Climbing poles, ladders, and structures, as well as restoring work sites, are essential tasks.
**Qualifications** involve at least 6 months of experience in utility construction, customer service, or related fields, with a valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a Class A CDL. Experience with horizontal directional drilling is preferred. Candidates must meet physical demands such as lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing structures, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Safety training and potentially background checks are required.
