Overview
Role Overview: Lead and implement innovative technical activities related to company/department Business Plans, New Models, and Mass Production, ensuring targets for Safety, Environmental impact, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Morale are met or exceeded.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop expertise in manufacturing processes from mechanical, electrical, and controls perspectives.
- Provide leadership through honest, fair communication and Honda Philosophy.
- Manage equipment downtime, quality, safety, and efficiency to achieve KPIs.
- Design equipment concepts and solutions aligned with PDCA analysis, Business Plans, or New Model projects.
- Support and lead technical engineering and equipment service teams.
- Oversee budgets, schedules, and resource planning for equipment design and implementation.
- Ensure quality and process plans support seamless production transitions.
- Lead technical training and development for engineering, ES, and PS staff.
- Maintain high safety standards for all team members.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 8+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.
- Strong leadership, planning, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- High technical knowledge and manufacturing expertise.
Working Conditions: Office or cleanroom environments, occasional travel, and possible overtime based on project needs.
