Position Overview
We are seeking a Tower Loader responsible for moving pallets of merchandise from staging areas and loading trailers in a fast-paced environment. The role involves organizing and ensuring damage-free loading using forklifts, pallet jacks, and clamp machines. Key duties include inspecting trailers, verifying loads with RF handhelds or voice systems, wrapping pallets, performing equipment inspections, and maintaining a clean work area.
Qualifications include:
One or more years of sit-down forklift operation experience
Previous loading experience with material handling equipment
Strong safety awareness and adherence to procedures
Team-oriented mindset with a desire to contribute positively
Ability to follow safety protocols and handle equipment safely
Skills:
Ability to lift 1-60 lbs, stand, bend, pull, and walk for extended periods
Comfort working on various surfaces and heights
Safe handling of sharp tools and equipment
Organizational skills and physical stamina
