Overview
Role Overview: The position involves completing customer orders by selecting products from warehouse racks, assembling, palletizing, and shrink-wrapping pallets. It requires operating powered industrial equipment and working in dry, cooled, or frozen environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Locate and lift various grocery products, including frozen and refrigerated items, following order sheets or audio instructions.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, safe workspace and conduct equipment inspections.
- Report damaged or low-stock products and utilize proper wrapping techniques to prevent damages.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience in order selecting and operating warehouse equipment is advantageous.
- Ability to accurately perform tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Capability to operate equipment safely per safety policies.
- Ability to work in multi-temperature areas and follow verbal and written instructions.
Physical Requirements: Must frequently sit, stand, walk, crouch, bend, and reach. Capable of lifting up to 75 pounds with assistance. Able to work in varying temperatures and noise levels for 8-10 hour shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
