Overview
Role: Operate cash register, electronic scanner, and handle customer transactions with courtesy, including processing various payment methods and weighing and bagging purchases.
Key Duties: Provide excellent customer service, ensure accurate pricing and signage, maintain a clean and organized department, and assist with stocking and merchandising tasks. Follow safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures, and communicate store programs and promotions effectively.
Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or GED preferred; prior retail experience beneficial. Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills required. Basic math, reading, and writing skills necessary. Ability to lift up to 30-50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods, and work in varied store environments.
