Overview
Role Overview: This position involves preparing, packaging, and displaying deli and bakery products, ensuring quality, safety, and guest satisfaction. The associate works independently to meet production plans, merchandise items, and maintain backroom stock, while collaborating with other departments to support store growth.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, package, label, and merchandise bakery and deli products
- Stock backroom with fresh products, rotating and dating items
- Communicate with team members about tasks, recipes, and cleaning procedures
- Follow safety, food safety, PPE, and guest experience guidelines
- Assist with tasks in other departments as needed
- Notify management about supplies and product needs
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- One year of retail or related experience preferred
- Basic math skills and ability to read and interpret documents
- Detail-oriented with good communication skills
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally, stand and walk for extended periods, and work in varied temperatures within a retail environment.
