Overview

Role Overview: Responsible for independently preparing, packaging, displaying, and stocking deli and bakery products to ensure quality, safety, and guest satisfaction. The role contributes to store profitability and collaborates with other departments to support retail growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and produce bakery/deli items according to production plans
  • Package, label, and merchandise products per plan and expectations
  • Stock backroom with fresh, rotated, and dated products
  • Communicate supply needs to managers and assist other departments as needed
  • Follow safety, food safety, PPE, cleaning, and guest experience guidelines
  • Perform basic math calculations and document tasks accurately

    • Qualifications & Skills:

    • High school diploma or GED preferred
    • One year of retail or related experience preferred
    • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents
    • Basic mathematical skills
    • Detail-oriented with strong communication skills

    Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform bending, stooping, and twisting. Work environment includes varied temperatures and exposure to outside weather conditions.
