Overview
Role Overview: This position involves independently preparing, frying, packaging, displaying, and stocking deli and bakery products to contribute to store profitability and customer satisfaction. The role requires adherence to safety, food safety, and guest experience standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and produce bakery/deli items according to production plans.
- Package, label, and merchandise products per program and merchandising expectations.
- Stock backroom with fresh products, ensuring proper rotation and dating.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to support store growth.
- Communicate supply needs to management and follow safety, food safety, and guest experience guidelines.
- Assist with tasks in other departments as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- At least one year of retail or related experience preferred.
- Ability to read, write, interpret documents, and perform basic math.
- Detail-oriented with good communication skills.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally, stand and walk for extended periods, and work in varied temperatures and environments. Reasonable accommodations are available for disabilities.
