Overview
Role Overview: Lead daily department operations in a retail store, ensuring staff training, full staffing, and adherence to company standards to meet performance goals.
Key Responsibilities: Manage inventory ordering and maintenance for product freshness and quality; review and validate received orders; oversee stocking, production, and product rotation; ensure store cleanliness and product presentation; follow food safety and safety guidelines; develop plans to meet company objectives; communicate and execute weekly flight plans; control labor, overtime, and payroll expenses; staff development and performance management; participate in meetings and maintain store standards.
Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or GED; preferred retail and supervisory experience; strong communication, organization, decision-making, and leadership skills; knowledge of retail operations and management systems; proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint; bilingual skills (Spanish) desirable based on location.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally; stand, walk, bend, and twist for extended periods; work in varied temperatures and outside conditions; reasonable accommodations available.
