The Meat Wrapper handles meat products, weighing, wrapping, pricing, labeling, and stocking shelves while maintaining cleanliness. Provides attentive customer service and sets a professional example.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to company policies for processing, preparing, and packaging meat products
- Ensure correct, clearly marked pricing
- Follow safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards
- Maintain proper case conditions through cleaning, stocking, and rotating products
- Deliver courteous customer service to promote sales
- Assist as directed by management and perform additional duties as needed
Qualifications & Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of different meat cuts and basic math skills
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 100 lbs, and work in varied temperatures
- Experience in retail or meat departments preferred
- Ability to operate equipment such as wrapping machines and scales
Key Details
Availability for flexible shifts, including mornings, days, and evenings. This role involves working in store and warehouse environments with exposure to different temperatures. No travel required.
