Overview
Join a dynamic and diverse team performing protective and investigative duties in Washington, DC.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing protection for the White House Complex, Vice President's Residence, Treasury Building, foreign diplomatic missions, and embassies in the area.
- Supporting travel for the President, Vice President, and foreign heads of state/government missions.
- Enforcing protective responsibilities under Title 18, U.S. Code Section 3056A.
Qualifications and skills required:
- U.S. citizenship and a valid driver's license.
- Must be at least 21 and under 40 years old, with exceptions for federal law enforcement veterans.
- Ability to carry and maintain proficiency with a firearm.
- Corrected visual acuity of 20/20 or better; uncorrected no worse than 20/100.
- Hearing ability with no more than 25 decibels loss in specified ranges.
- Successful completion of drug testing and intensive training at FLETC and James J. Rowley Training Center.
- Register with the Selective Service System if applicable.
