Overview
Role Overview: Responsible for analyzing design and layout during the Prototype phase of New Model projects, ensuring vehicle quality through technical expertise. Collaborates with design and test teams to resolve issues and develop solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Paint Prototype Development: Surface finishing, color matching, applying coatings, and achieving production-quality appearance in vehicle prototypes.
- Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Analyzing design data, prototype builds, and parts to identify issues; reviewing standards; and developing corrective actions.
- Development Support: Coordinating prototype activities, maintaining documentation, training team members, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 0-2 years of relevant work experience; recent graduates encouraged to apply.
- Attention to detail, strong communication, analytical skills, and knowledge of vehicle construction, CAD software, and troubleshooting.
- Effective teamwork, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Decision-Making & Environment: Involves design improvements, resource planning, and process enhancements. Work environment includes office, lab, and meetings.
