Overview
We are seeking a New Model Project Leader to manage development activities for North American Stamping plant departments.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating design confirmation with departments and preparing project status reports for leadership.
- Collaborating with design, engineering, and business teams to ensure manufacturing characteristics are integrated into design and processes.
- Understanding plant processes and constraints to support new model development.
- Developing project targets, action plans, and monitoring progress to meet cost, quality, and delivery goals.
- Building cross-functional relationships internally and with suppliers.
- Leading meetings, managing project budgets and staffing, and reporting on progress.
Qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant experience, preferably in Stamping.
- At least 2 years of experience in new model development or manufacturing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAD tools, and knowledge of stamping and manufacturing processes.
- Strong project management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to meet project milestones and work collaboratively across teams.
Working conditions: On-site work with potential international travel; some overtime may be required.
