Join our team as a Retail Store Associate, responsible for ensuring smooth store operations and delivering exceptional customer service. Your duties include restocking shelves, slicing deli meats, receiving products, assisting customers, and processing transactions, all while maintaining a clean and inviting environment. You will contribute by providing friendly assistance, maintaining proper product conditions, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation, resolving pricing discrepancies, and following food safety regulations. Collaboration across departments and performing additional tasks as assigned are also key aspects of the role.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Knowledge of retail store operations and food safety procedures
- Ability to provide courteous customer service and differentiate product lines
- Physical ability to stand, lift up to 80 lbs, and operate various equipment such as slicers, ovens, and scales
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to learn quickly
Position Titles include: Cashier, Deli Clerk, Produce Clerk, Bakery Clerk, Grocery Clerk, Dairy/Frozen Clerk, Utility Clerk
Environment: Store environment with temperature range of 50F to 90F
