Overview
Role Overview: The Tax Manager is responsible for providing tax compliance and advisory services to pass-through entities and partnerships within the Asset Management sector. They will manage a portfolio of clients, lead multi-disciplinary teams, and serve as the primary contact for clients, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee tax compliance and advisory projects, managing risk, financial performance, billing, and collections.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing expert guidance on complex tax matters.
- Lead and coordinate teams of tax professionals, ensuring successful project execution.
- Contribute to market activities and business development efforts.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum five years of recent pass-through and partnership tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation, or law firm.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Licensed CPA, EA, JD, or LLM; candidates without such credentials have one year to obtain them.
- Experience managing multiple client engagements and teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for articulating complex tax information.
