Overview
Role Overview: A Warehouse Generalist performs multiple warehouse duties, including operating equipment, picking, packing, loading, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness. They may fill roles such as Selector, Dock Worker, Palletizer, Forklift Operator, and Warehouse Clerk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize order pickers, voice-command systems, and RF terminals to fulfill customer orders and replenish stock.
- Build and secure pallets, wrapping and loading products onto trailers or trucks.
- Operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts, managing pallets up to 46 feet high.
- Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks within the warehouse environment.
- Work collaboratively across departments, including assisting with inbound and outbound logistics.
- Adhere to safety standards and company policies, including fall protection training where applicable.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs, stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Experience with material handling equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts).
- Commitment to safety, reliability, and quality work.
- Strong teamwork, adaptability, and a results-driven mindset.
Work Environment: Warehouses include freezer, perishable, and grocery storage areas, with varying temperatures.
