Overview
Role Overview: This position involves selecting, assembling, palletizing, and wrapping customer orders in a warehouse environment, utilizing powered industrial equipment such as pallet jacks. The role requires working in various temperature zones including refrigerated and freezer areas.
Main Responsibilities:
- Locate and lift products like dry groceries, frozen foods, dairy, produce, and meats based on order sheets or audio headsets.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, conduct inspections, and maintain a clean work environment.
- Report damaged, low-stock, or quality issues and apply proper wrapping techniques to prevent damage.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to instructions to ensure efficient order fulfillment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior experience in order selecting and operating industrial equipment is advantageous.
- Ability to perform tasks accurately in a fast-paced setting, follow safety procedures, and work in multiple temperature environments.
- Physical capability to lift up to 75 pounds, stand, walk, crouch, and reach frequently.
